The library is led by Abby Hopewell (they/she) who is a mum of four amazing little people including twins; married to Mark; a Slingababy and L'ecole a porter - JPMBB trained Babywearing Consultant and a Born to Carry trained Peer Supporter.

Abby is also a Birth and Postnatal Doula, Closing the Bones practitioner (a postnatal abdominal massage and ceremony) and a 3 Step Rewind provider helping with birth trauma.

As a mum of four young children, slings have been an invaluable parenting tool and so Abby is passionate about empowering parents to safely carry their children as well as educating why it is important to carry them.

Abby has experience of helping families with a range of needs, including but not limited to, children in a spica hip cast; premature babies; low birth weight babies; babies with trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome); tandem carrying including multiples or different age children; parents who are visually or hearing impaired and parents with partial paralysis.

Abby's husband, Mark, is also a trained Born to Carry Peer Supporter and a Slingababy Consultant and you will see him at some sessions, too.

Abby provided a seminar alongside Dr. Rosie Knowles at the Northern Sling Exhibition in March 2017.

Me and my 3 month old baby Ava attended the introduction to baby wearing yesterday morning and it was great. We are new to baby wearing and the session covered all the basic info regarding health and safety, different slings and wearing styles. Also I learnt about different cultures and people's views on baby wearing. I feel so much more confident now and I'm looking forward to more sessions. We was also made to welcome and comfortable as soon as we arrived. Thank you x

Always extremely helpful, with lots of guidance available during and after! I would never of had the great experience of baby carrying if it wasn’t for Noah’s arc sling library!

We’ve just returned a Beko Toddler - it has been a dream. We love to walk on our holidays to the lakes but didn’t go last year because our toddler was too big for the backpack but too small to walk, this year despite him being 3 1/2 and quite a tall boy we were able to hire a carrier that meant everyone had a great holiday and he loved being in it too. Abby and the team were amazing at every step - thoroughly recommend!! Amazing 😊😊
